DUANE D.H. PITT, MD
Amir Malik, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in cranial, spinal, and peripheral neurology at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine in Frisco, Texas. With a rich background in research, lectures, publications, and clinical work, Dr. Malik now brings his compassion and expertise to collaborate with his colleagues on providing top-notch neurological care. 

Dr. Malik completed his undergraduate education at Pakistan Air Force Degree College in Peshawar, Pakistan. He remained in Pakistan for medical school at Punjab University Rawalpindi School of Medicine in Rawalpindi, where he also completed an internship in general surgery. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad, Pakistan.

After working for several years in Pakistan, Dr. Malik moved to the United States. He continued his training with rotations and an internal medicine internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. At the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, he completed a general surgery internship and a fellowship in neurosurgery. He continued with a fellowship in skull base surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, before completing a residency in neurosurgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Throughout his years of training and the years since, Dr. Malik has held numerous clinical positions and has been an assistant professor in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He is also active at multiple hospitals in the greater Houston, Texas, area. 

Dr. Malik keeps up on the latest information in neurosurgery by maintaining memberships in the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Joint Section of Neurotrauma, the North American Spine Society, and the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America.

AMIR MALIK, MD
Dr. Dilip K. Sengupta, MD, is a board certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. He graduated from University of Calcutta, India in 1981. He had multiple fellowship training in Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery from Liverpool & Nottingham in the United Kingdom, William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, and Texas Back Institute in Texas.

Dr. Sengupta is a member of North American Spine Society. He has published 50+ original research articles and 50+ book chapters. He has extensive experience with back and neck surgeries. His special interest is in non-fusion stabilization of the spine, in which he obtained Doctor of Medicine from Nottingham University, patented his innovation of new technologies, and edited Dynamic Reconstruction of the Spine book.

Dr. Sengupta is an active fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society, where he served as the chairman of the research grant committee. He has extensive experience treating pediatric and adolescent scoliosis. His current interest is in the field of adult spinal deformities and revision and complex spinal surgeries.

Dr. Dilip K. Sengupta, MD, is a highly accomplished Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with extensive training in both Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery.
